The EM SPEED LOG SYN-7329(V)6 is an electromagnetic device able to measure the ship’s speed designed and manufactured for use on board military vessels.
The system, thanks to a two-axis electromagnetic transducer measures the ship’s speed relative to the water and it determines the motion’s direction and the distance travelled.
Another transducer provides the water temperature.
Data are available on a suitable Man Machine interface, which has the function to provide such output on a serial digital line for other ship users.
